All these towns in the south there are not much to be there. Mexican food, enough already, not much of culture snd lifestyle. Ugly desert all around, lack of identity you’d want to stay for any time at all. Veni vidi vici.
Once you descend south from Prescott it’s a world of shitola for us northerners. Phoenix, Scottsdale have some cultural identity a northerner European can identify with. No more further down….
