As you already know, I have been struggling with miz micro's prize for keeping me around for fifty years.
We have come a long way in temperament since the first year
and have learned to not be overly sensitive if we don't hear the exact words or phrases we think we ought to.
Now that I wear hearing aids full time I hear more than I ever did and realize how much more stuff was being muttered by my other half I did not hear before..
Hmmmmmmmm.
Almost nobody can get me really fired up and angry faster than she can. I suppose that is likely true of most marriages. It comes from the person whom we think is least likely to come from. So it stings a little more.
Anyway, I am confident it is a two way street and having learned to overlooked and ignore most annoying things has made things a lot smoother over the journey.
I have a GIGANTIC floral arrangement headed here to the house Saturday morning of Roses and other flowers. I wanted to take her to anywhere in the country but she does not like to travel..
She ain't gonna get out of this two bit county the rest of her life imo. Except to watch the granddaughters softball games an hour away and then she will tell me each mile per hour over what she thinks I should be driving I am going.
wives are interesting at times an annoying at others.
They do not want to do something and want you to do it then complain and tell you everything you are doing wrong
even though you are doing exactly what she wanted you to..
I guess that is what keeps things together. The mysteries and guessing as to what is she really thinking now...
we thought about going to a five star Hotel here for a night but we realized we would not get any sleep as we are very particular about how a mattress feels.
So I guess we'll just keep the money and go to bed in our bed.
I hope it all works out and she is satisfied.
I guess now we start working toward number 60..
Hope I make it that far. Its all in God's hands. I'm not supposed to live that long but its not our decision..
One day at a time... I do need to think about really retiring though.. I am getting too tired to keep this up..
