Not all on NPR is rubbish, just most of it. The local talk shows on at the time I listen to the radio are either sports channels where two guys talk for four hours and say the same thing the guys on for the previous four hours said. Then they are replaced by two more guys who do the same thing. It is not only boring, it is stoopid.
...the other news/talk show has a mindless twit on early in the morning and he gets replaced by Erick Erickson at about noon. Erick is a bit full of himself. It's a half hour show crammed into three of four hours. Then the clown show comes on after erick goes off. Slapstick humor isn't impressive on the radio.
Most of the time I stick an earplug in my ear and listen instead of sleeping. Sometimes is is a replay from the daytime show but whether it is a repeat or not it is the same information over and over.
...oh yeah, Hannity has a show a couple of times a week. If I am awake when he comes on I change channels. If I am asleep, he wakes me up and I change channels. Hannity's entire show is nothing but bumper sticker slogans.
Listening to talk radio around here is kinda like the current election. Both candidates suck but it's all we got.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
