Looks like a city with lots of late bars in downtown area, probably fun, not interested, some looked like dives. I am sure a cursory look doesn’t tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I don’t generalize easy. But, what I have to say is the highways around are a maze of evident fast growth and panic building, and they seem clogged all day long.
I don’t feel nor have the time for this place. The northern burbs look better. Food was good, I just wish they’d do more away with the Mexican stuff, burrito this, enchilada that, taco fo ju, etc. I understand the culture but that food for me is an …occasional outing. Nothing more. Gimme a big juicy steak, beef ribs, etc., any day.
I did have something imaginative in Fredericksburg, though, Cowboy twinkies, Jalapenos filled with beer sausage and cheddar, wrapped in bacon, and grilled. Oh my. I could eat so many of those till my gut looked like Trump’s.
