I don't know what the metal portion of the spoon weighs. My idea to weigh the bowl while supporting the handle off scale doesn't work.

...my attempt to weigh myself while standing on one foot didn't work either.

Re: “...a feel, even if inaccurate, for the spoon's metal content and worth.”I was right that the spoon is big. 11 inches and 93 grams. (A Troy oz is 31 grams.) The spoon's bowl is 2.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep making it practically a ladle.

I don't know what the metal portion of the spoon weighs. My idea to weigh the bowl while supporting the wood handle off scale doesn't work. I get results varying from 30 grams to 66 grams depending on how the support is set.
