The next team to play Texas?
Georgia finally played like the Georgia team I had been expecting to see all season. Kirby apparently got them motivated.
Just like the Buckeyes who played at Oregon with a new QB this year ya can easily lose a game to an excellent team.
It only takes one game to throttle a season of high hope and expectation.
Glad the playoffs are expanded because this loss by Texas, Georgia, or Ohio State is NOT going to keep them out of the playoffs.
A second loss likely would and the Bucks still have to go to Happy Valley to play the Nittany Lions who are undefeated as well.
Someone in powerful conferences with multiple great teams is going to lose on any given day. I think the years of teams in great conferences going undefeated thru an entire season are pretty much over by virtue of the level of talent in those conferences.
Take Indiana for example. They are a very strong team this year after a change of coaches and adding some better talent. They are undefeated as of yet..
Congrats to The Dawgs on a quality win against a high quality opponent. Texas will rebound. Just like Georgia has.
