...there is too much talk from the dems about "an orderly transition of power" to believe that there isn't an alternative plan in their agenda. Trump should wear a vest and a helmet and get a food taster.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Re: “insane hysteria is directly caused by unhinged Democrats going off the rails all the time in a sick attempt to demonize their political opponents. Weak-minded people like Mr. Nephew are susceptible to this kind of hateful agitation.”
Earlier today, I was on the phone with a young friend from New York (who I'll just call "T"). She'd heard about this mass murder on the internet and read part of the article, or one just like it, to me. At the end, she was somber.

"You know," she whispered. "My Nana is like that. Just like that."

I'd have laughed but she was serious. "How so?" I asked.

"She's so obsessed with politics," she said. "She's always watching MSNBC and absolutely despises Trump. She gets on these rants you wouldn't believe! We all try to keep her off the subject, but sometimes we can't. It's scary. It's all she thinks about."

I didn't know what to say, and then she asked, "Do you think Nana could ever do what Andrew Nixon did - to me?"

"No, I don't think so," I assured her. "She loves you. That Andrew Nixon guy had mental health problems. Does your Nana?"

"I don't know. Yeah, maybe," she said.

There wasn't a lot more to that part of the conversation. I asked her if her grandmother owned a gun, and T said she didn't know. I suggested she have her father find out, if possible. I told her that if "Nana" scares her, she should stay away from her as much as possible. I don't know what else I could have said. I've got some past knowledge of "Nana" and agree that she's pretty messed up, but I wouldn't have thought violent. Then again, there's no telling when she's despondent. Ultimately, there are a lot of screwed up people out there, and hardly any of them kill their families like Andrew Nixon did. I've never actually met this old woman and intend to keep it that way.
