Actually, it won't mean the end of the Five Eyes. It will just mean there will be restrictions on what the other four share with the US.

For instance, surely no one will share the names of their field operatives with the Trump administration, for whom their identities might represent a valuable transactional opportunity.

Trump is going straight for the old Acting Department Heads routine, at the expense of the constitutional role of the senate to approve nominees, or to disqualify them.

This and the abandonment of background checks that Trump knows would make his candidates ineligible.

This is just another form of coup. This one against the senate in favour of the arbitrary power of the presidency.

The lawlessness is there from inception. It will only get worse.
