That explosion is about 15 miles just to my east and slightly (5 miles) south.
Bethel is a really nifty village out in the country that keeps growing a little at a time.
I am sorry to hear this because lots of folks that live there are not what you would call well off but just lower middle income .
Its an old village but is growing slowly. I have a friend who lives there and raised his three daughters when their mother who was on drugs ran off with a another druggie.
He worked for me years ago and I became his step dad to fill that role for him because his father had passed several years earlier and he needed a father figure in his life. We remain friend to this day.. His daughters have turned out well...
I am wondering now if the people involved need help to replace things and financial assistance?
I will check into this. A horrible time of year for this to happen..
