Didn't say that nor mean to imply it.
The GOAL of every season with perennial ncaaf powers is to be dominant and win their conference and then hopefully the National Title.

Just as BAMA vs. Georgia is an epic struggle or Texas vs Oklahoma as a traditional battle the Michigan game is special. For some reason it has become a make or break game for every season not matter what else happens.

Like other powerful football teams in other conferences our goal is to win the conference first and national title second every year. THAT is the GOAL. It gets tougher as your opponents get better..

We lost a game a questionable game in Oregon early this year. But this Michigan game was simply mind blowing.

EGOS were soaring and thinking that they did not have to play with all they have in them. It was going to be an easy win.. Until it wasn't and reality set in on deflated heads and egos.

THAT'S a COACHING MISTAKE in preparation.. There is no way this Michigan stacks up with the Buckeyes on any level and yet, they won. Give them credit for overcoming huge odds and playing like it was their last game and their lives depended on it.

What happened to the better talented Buckeyes? They thought they had this in the bag. They did not have to play hard or like there was no tomorrow. And when they realized their error it was too late. They were not going to catch up.

SO they looked like the morons that they were. Especially the HEAD COACH who did not have this team ready to play.

My brother in law was ready to go to Columbus with a few other Rose Bowl players of the past and express some displeasure. BIG names. Including Vrabel.

With the talent that Ryan Day gets year after year to play, there is almost no reason why they should ever lose a game.. Teams drool to get the recruits they do.

So get the players ready to play hard every game.

THIS game was entirely on the COACH and Coaching staff.

Swelled heads and egos.. It did not turn out very well as the game is played on the field, not in the imaginations..

I understand. As long as ya beat Michigan ya are happy with a 2-9 season.
