Rebels are taking Hama.

Looking like the Syrian army has no desire to fight, which means the Assad regime may fall.

That's bad news for Assad's allies: Russia and Iran.

Russian ships have apparently left Tartus.

I know nothing about the rebels. At first it was said they were al Qaeda. But some repors say they are way better than that.

The rebels have taken Aleppo and are now fighting in Hama.

Tartus on the coast is not so far away.

Not ure who is orchestrating this, but it's a proper rebellion and could really damage Putin's navy if the port is taken.
