...mz ribit is from the "Too Much Is Not Enough" school of thought on Christmas decorations.

After a nearky 2 hour struggle after miz micro left da house, I have finally finished setting up the annual Babylonian Bush, otherwise known as a "Christmas" tree.

This was a ritual started in Babylon many centuries ago hence my former Pastor and people like me refer to this as a Babylonian Bush. A decorated one, but still a bush!

I enjoy the decorative lights and colorful ornaments as the next person but I think these things go up mostly for the wrong reasons and ideas.

If I had my druthers me and Charlie Brown got a lot in common.
I think my dear mother had it right when her and dad were in their seventies.

She found a wall hangup Christmas tree that had some lights on it they could hang on their wall and plug it in. It worked.. I thought they were nuts at the time.

Now that I am nearing their ages I see exactly why they did this. They were ahead of their time..

I have been summoned by miz micro to go out to the car and fetch whatever she spent more money on this afternoon. she does her best to single handedly support at least five stored in our area all by herself..
