I agree with ya sir wizard. Playing weak teams does not test your athletes or enable ya to assess your places that need improvement for when you do have to go head to head with that skilled other team and now ya aren't prepared or ready.

I have never liked football powers playing the little sisters of the poor for opening games but I get why they do it. It's helping those lesser teams smaller universities to get a big paycheck to help their school financially.

Its kind of a nice gesture really. But it makes for boring games that really don't help teams get ready.

SO, yes sir, we completely agree on that..

The wolverines were really bad this year. THAT's why the complacency from Ohio State's players against them.

I personally think Ryan Day should be sent packing.
A good coach would not have let this happen with the talent on that Ohio State roster..

I am looking forward to that day....

Well, we opened up this season by playing the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor ... why not open up next year by playing the grits-deprived Buckwheats of The Ohio State in Columbus, eh? I know it is riskier for your won/loss record, but I think it would be better if the major programs played stronger teams for at least some of their nonconference games.
