Earlier today, we told you ABC News settled the defamation lawsuit filed by Donald Trump, after the station wrongly said Trump was found liable for rape.
It's the media finally being held accountable, rather than being the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.
Well ... let's not overstate this, shall we? The woketard media received a well-deserved bitch-slap here, but it isn't going to change its stripes ... it is just now on notice that it cannot go TOO far in defaming people in pursuit of its propaganda mission for the Democrat Party. I foresee more "legal notes" (clarifications to help avoid lawsuits for defamation) being issued on air like the ones recently aired by ABC's "The View."
Lefites, of course, are not taking it well.
First up, Bill Kristol, who is just making up words now, because calling Trump a 'fascist' just doesn't work for him anymore:

"Orbanization" is a made-up term referencing the left's hatred for Hungary's Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, who has been elected for four consecutive terms. Orban is a Conservative, so they despise him and claim that he is some kind of "dictator."

This isn't hard: Stephanopoulos defamed Trump. Trump sued.
Stephanopoulos was set to be deposed in the case, and ABC realized that wasn't in their best interest.
ABC rightly determined that the only real case of rape in all of this was what the trial was going to do to ABC after this was all said and done - and it was going to be without the benefit of any lubrication.

Boo (@IzaBooboo) ~ ABC settled because a deposition of Stephanopolous would have been extremely embarrassing and they recognized they were in some trouble. That's the only reasonable read to get off of this.
Yep, ABC was about to jump hot and heavy on a bicycle that had its seat removed.
