>>>Some of the Republicans who voted against the bill are conservatives

SOME ... with such a narrow majority in the House - the FACT that 38 of them voted AGAINST a stripped down CR, which the 'some are conservative' CLAIM they want voids any claim to righteousness they (or you) wish to assert about their credentials null and void, in my homest opinion. Those SOME do not wish to work with the rest of their republican members to exercise and influence an objective conservative path, they simply want to exercise their power and show that they can 'shut down the entire MAGA agenda' at their whim, and that includes their efforts at overthrowing their own leadership.

Those so-called 'conservatives' not only are NOT pursuing a conservative objective they are also showing that they are willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Sorry - the argument fails completely with me.

It was NOT a hastily pulled together fiasco, it was what the actual CONSERVATIVE republicans in the House and Senate have argued for since the beginning of this CF.

Re: “The 'porkfest' was OBVIOUSLY due in LARGE part to those 38 REPUBLICANS (aka RINO's) 'negotiating' with the democrats - not because of Johnson's negotiating failures but because of those 38 repugnicants fighting with Johnson and refusing to move a single inch in their OWN desires to cultivate power and influence with the demoncrap house members.”
It's not so obvious as you'd think. Some of the Republicans who voted against the bill are conservatives who did so because they refused to let Johnson off the hook. They want him gone in January and are using this hastily thrown together bill as a second example of how he cannot continue leading the House.
