The big difference between bringing in as many engineers as we can get and having an open border is that the former are in limited supply and will be a boon to our economy while the latter are the dregs of society, coming only for the free stuff we'll provide. Immigrants are good, but only QUALITY immigrants

I wrote this a few days age but didn’t get around to posting it.

Musk is in favor of increasing the H1-B visa program and has convinced Trump we need to bring in more worker from India. Trump himself thinks we need more immigration into the United States.

Trump thinks growing the economy is the best way to help fix our debt problem. The tech millionaires tell him we can’t grow the economy without hiring foreigners.

Trump has been meeting with Silicone Valley Tech millionaires at Mar a Lago. These people have been pushing for more H1-B Visas. A few from India in the Trump administration have been making remarks about engineers from India being superior to American engineers. Both Musk and Ramaswamy have joined in on bashing Americans.


Also
Trump has mentioned several times about doing something for the dreamers. He wants to use the dreamers as a bargaining chip to get something else from the Democrats. Like tax cuts.
