Like you I have some vinyl albums I'd like to be able to play or record, so I bought two turntables at auction this last year. Neither one works. I'm starting to wonder if - when these things sit idle for too long - their belts get brittle and fail when needed.

Good Morning!

We are hunkered down here 30 miles EAST of downtown cincinnati, 13 miles north of the Ohio River.

We are expecting 8-12 inches of snow when this system gets here. It is very cold outside now bust so far the system has not reached us.. It will do a number on Louisville first as the system moves northeastward up the Ohio River valley.

It's an ugly winter gray outside. I just was out with my boy Charlie in the back yard letting him get some outside time before we are all stuck inside.

This may be the time to force me to invest in a good generator. My entire house is electric so when we lose electric from an auto accident on a line that is on our grid we are without for long periods of time..

SO I think a good standby generator might be in order.
Especially for days like this or severe thunderstorms.

Something we have to talk about anyway..

Miz micro just got new eyeglasses yesterday. Only $500.

What a deal. She needs special lenses and they are where the expense is at. The frame wasn't bad but it still was over $125.00

NOW we are just awaiting for the outdoor show to begin..

I'll let y'all know when it starts here so you can have an idea of its location. De is further north and well east of me. It may well take a lot longer to get to him and I am unsure if it will move that far north. Time will tell.

ON a different note, we made a purchase a few days ago that all you older gents will know about.

We bought a new stereo LP record player with separate speakers and a good turntable. I have lots of LP's from the days when music was sold on records.

So now I can listen to it again as I have a nice stereo LP player. ALL I need is to find where I am going to locate it other than the formal dining room table.

The boss doesn't want it there but she didn't mind listening to some music she liked. Funny how that works.

The Bengals beat the Steelers last night for the final game of their season. SO they took care of both The Ravens, Steelers and Browns the last three games of the regular season.

WHERE was this team at the beginning of the season???

Too little too late.. Maybe they will show up at the season's beginning next year and play to win..
Hopefully the sign Higgins and Chase both.. Both are worth what they get paid. JMO...
