Seeing reports of winds over 100 mph, and overnight, they can't even really fight it, there's a second area, too... Spooky, seeing firefighter bulldozer shoving all the abandoned cars off the roads so they can get through. And it's nowhere near over... It was over 3,000 acres earlier, might double overnight...
Scary stuff, we had our share a few years back, friends, family lost homes, either move on or rebuild.. BIL lost his, and many dollars of art pieces, jewelry, old books, collectables, poof, gone, lucky to survive...
I been there a couple of times, dinner party at a magical house up the hills, amazing fragrant air, diverse populace( met a retired CIA higher up) it’d be my No1 choice to live in, unfortunately California is being hit with terrible events the last decade or so. You don’t even know what’s next.
