Yeah, you have to be careful driving in icy and snowy conditions, anyway, but here, where many do not have experience driving in such conditions AND the local governments are not as well-equipped in adequately dealing with such conditions (because such weather does not happen all that often), you have to be especially wary. I have lived in places where there is more annual snowfall and have a fair amount of experience with driving in such conditions, but when you get pickups (which have light weight in the back over the drive axle) flying down the road ... well ... you need to give them a wide berth.
