Hmmm ... based on his past two years, I would have advised him to take the $6MM in NIL money and get another year of NCAA experience. Based on his performance with the Longhorns, I don't think he will be viewed as much more than a journeyman quarterback in the NFL. If he were to transfer to another NCAA team that is a contender for next year's championship, not get hurt, and perform better, he could possibly do himself a world of good in the eyes of the NFL. AND, he could also be $6MM richer.

But, whether Ewers stays in the NCAA for one more year or goes to the NFL, should matter not to UT ... Manning is their guy going forward.
