The mechanic at my garage has called and and let me know that the PCV valve was completely clogged. To be safe they have removed the oil pan and checked inside for chips, and then flushed the engine with cleaner.
The computer is not picking up any additional sensor issues so hopefully is was just a clogged PCV valve causing this.
The factory original tires are pretty worn as well as they were some Korean off brand.
I am having a new set of Cooper tires put on all around to be safe while driving the rest of winter and the year.
So when I get this back it should be in great shape and ready. I am wondering if there is a mileage limit on how long you should go between changing the PCV valve?
I'll find that out.. I would rather change it ahead of time and be good than not to and go thru this again.
I drove all the way from Evansville to my hgarage up the street from me at a maximum of 40 mph. About 30 going up hills. That was a long drive home in the dark and I almost did not make it up some of the hills like the one at Carrolton, Kentucky. That is Steep and Long!
So I am feeling better about it today and even though I will spend a small fortune I will once again have an almost new car with less than 25,000 miles on it.
Factory original tires are just crap, at least on this Tuscon.
I am trying Cooper Tired on it. I like the Generals I have on my car too. They are Altimax RT 43's and a performance tire. They are quieter than the other major brands I have had in the past.
So, hopefully the guys finish up the Tuscon today so I can be back with my second vehicle.
Not long until America will be respected in the world again.. Joe not only was a national disgrace, he is a world disgrace and a common thief. Lowlife...
