De

not far from my house there is the Western/Southern Open every year held for Tennis.

I have not gone but there always plenty of vehicles there filling the stands every year.

I'd go with ya to the event should ya want to see a live tennis match..

Sumpin to think about. Thumbs Up

Re: “are you a pro tennis fan De?”
I used to play tennis virtually every day. I stopped in my 30s when my elbow was injured. Unfortunately it never fully healed.

As for pro tennis, I enjoy it on TV - just as you with football.

Pro tennis matches are too far away and often in places I wouldn't want to go (Flushing Meadows is in Queens, NY!)

It's been long enough since I've had TV that I only know a handful of the top players these days.

Many years ago, in Sacramento, I received tickets to several pro exhibition matches. I remember seeing Pam Shriver play, but I didn't know the others. They were all good... remarkably smooth.
