I'll throw another hat in that ring - Greg Abbott. I'm hoping that, after he is termed out of the governor's office, he will at least challenge Cornyn for the U.S. Senate seat.

Re: “An absolutely brutal @QuinnipiacPoll for Democrats:”
Democrats are in a world of hurt. For starters, most of them are ancient. Sanders? Pelosi? Hillary? Warren? You can stick a fork in them. Newsome has killed any hope for his future. So has Cameltoe.

Moochelle doesn't want to run and I'm beginning to believe her. She may be separating from Barack. That leaves Klobuchar and Buttgeek, neither of whom have much of a record on which to campaign.

Importantly, none of the Democrats have platforms to distinguish them in any meaningful way from their party's past. Its FAILED past.

Meanwhile, the Republicans have Vance, DeSantis, Rubio, Cruz, Abbott, Trump Jr. and Gabbard, all of whom will be strong in four years if Trump's term goes well. Even Noem could be looking good by then. They're young and their futures are bright.
