American Airlines Flight 5342 from Wichita, Kansas inbound to DCA has reportedly collided midair with a D.C. Police Helicopter on approach and crashed into the Potomac River. Number of people onboard currently unknown.
A helicopter and a plane collided mid-air while approaching Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Rescue operations involving boats are currently searching the Potomac River.
