That is not accurate. The chopper was at 200 feet, the liner was at 300 and DESCENDING to ATC approved strip. The ATC deliberately turned the plane into the path of the chopper. Look closely at the radar/comm link ypu posted earlier. Expect that info to DISAPPEAR quickly. The attempt to blame the military is in full swing. It is the fault of the FAA - no question about it.

The last line in your post completely confirms the above analysis.

>>>Didn’t have a copter controller, so one controller was handling both planes and helicopters.

And THAT controller completely blew it. His/Her fault completely.

The flight ceiling restriction for helicopters around the airport is 200 ft. The collusion happened at 300 to 400 ft. So the helicopter was violating the ceiling restriction.

The plane was cleared to land and was following the normal flight path.

The helicopter was warned to stay out of the flight path of the plane, warned to watch for the plane, told to pass to the rear of the plane.

Three on board,Two pilots on the helicopter, one male and one female. One instructor/crew chief.

Normal operations for ATC at Reagan is for a separate controller who only handles Helicopters. They were short handed last night. Didn’t have a copter controller, so one controller was handling both planes and helicopters.
