Just to make an obvious point about scripture.
It was never intended to be entertaining. When Christ spoke here on earth it was not making jokes. When Moses was leading the Israelites out of Egypt and through the desert at talked to the people it was not entertaining.
When GOD spoke to David it was not entertaining.
And lastly, the scriptures were PRESERVED during the Dark Ages by French monks who hid them and kept them while the rest of the world had gone on a rampage to try to destroy them.
As there were no copy machines in those days the copying was done by hand by scholarly scribes and monks who we have to thank for them today.
The dead sea scrolls are revealing that the preservations we have are dead on.
So, I would say that just because one doesn't believe in something does not mean that something is not real or does not exist.
EVERY SINGLE prophecy made in the Bible has come true and been proven. Except one. And that one has yet to happen but its getting very close. The end of the age we live in called Laodicea is coming toward its end by seeing the things that have come to pass. No more prophecies yet to fulfill except one out of hundreds.
And that one will be The Rapture of The Church (people of God). What designates thise people are the Holy Spirit indwelling them AND their names are recorded in a book in Heaven called The Lamb's Book of Life. If your name is not recorded in there, you do not get in..
THAT Book is a record of all those who have believed in Christ over all the ages. Those who LOOKED FORWARD to HIS coming and those who are living after his first coming and looking forward to the Second Coming which HE promised and told us about.
It does not matter whether one has read through the Bible or not. What matters, and the Only thing that matters is whether YOUR NAME is written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
If not, you will be left on earth when millions have mysteriously disappeared in a moment.
You don't want to be one of those remaining here on earth. The horror of things that will happen from God's wrath and Judgment will be terrible.
Anyway, I highly recommend one not only read a little of the scriptures daily, but come to Christ just as you are, and ask HIS forgiveness and to come into your heart and be Your savior.
Then your name will be written in the BOOK of LIFE and you will have a HOME, a mansion, in Heaven for all eternity to worship and praise the ONE who gave Himself for you..
Don't worry about the little stuff. Like reading thru the entire Bible. What is important is this: IS CHRIST your Savior? Have you accepted HIM alone into your heart and asked HIS forgiveness and asked for HIS salvation.
THAT is what matters.. Eternity versus about 80 years of life on earth.. It's not much of a decision..
Only a fool would reject such an offer....
