Democrats are continuing to scream about Elon Musk and his DOGE team ending wasteful government spending. The U.S. government has never undergone an audit of this scope and scale, and it is long overdue. On Tuesday, Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana made an astute observation about the Dems who are protesting loudest about the audits.

God forbid you don’t claim a $600 Venmo payment; yet the U.S. Treasury can send out almost $1B per week in fraudulent payments, and it’s none of our business.
Yep ... when the IRS collects taxes, THAT is OUR money. When the government bureaucracy expends funds, THAT is STILL OUR money. At NO TIME do those funds EVER belong to the politicians and bureaucrats - EVER. So, to all the politicians, federal employees, and Democrat voters (including the derelicts of the Further Freedom From Thought Board) who are whining and bitching about the audits of government agencies, the public exposure of wasteful, corrupt spending, the accountability being imposed on federal employees for not being trustworthy to the American People and the law, and the reductions in the federal workforce ...
