ART is one side of your brain De. I am not good at making art myself but let be use software to design things like robotic arms or work on the Army's Abrams Tank Hull machining now that's a different story.

I did have the pleasure of being of of three selected to work on designing and making the very first pick and place robotic arms to be used on a GM assembly line system.

That was a long time ago after visiting the tropical paradise of Vietnam.

This brief stay at the Machine Tool corporation was the thing that got my juices flowing and interest in manufacturing using better methods , motions, and workplace layouts.. Combined with an extensive knowledge of materials these all proved valuable to my careers.

Something else I do well is speed read and retain. At least I used to.

Like everyone else I have some weaknesses. I constantly have to work on them or at least be cognizant of them so I don't display them. My wife knows them but not many others.

What is a HIGH IQ? What number do you quantify as being "high". That can vary. The standard is MENSA which is 150 or more.

ALSO, IQ and memory are not the same. They are great if one has excellent memory and an excellent IQ.

All good stuff.

I am winding down my careers as I am training my nephew to be able to take over my business and I will be available to answer questions and train..

Anyway, life does not stop and neither does the aging process. And still, life continues...

Re: “Most everyone here is smarter than me IMO.”
When I was young, I asked my mother if I had a high I.Q. She paused for just a second. "You know that picture in the living room? Your sister made it when she was about your age. Go paint me something like that."

"But I'm not artistic," I said.

"Then you've got your answer," she replied.

I left with my tail between my legs and never asked that question again.

We all have strengths and weaknesses. Some have more of the one than the other, but we've all got some of both. I hope I do, anyway - 'cuz I know I'm a moron when it comes to art.
