“Friends” actress Jennifer Aniston has reportedly distanced herself from Hollywood and gone into hiding amid persistent rumors that she’s been engaged in an affair with Barack Obama.
In the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires, Aniston is holing up far away from Hollywood and is seeking a “fresh start” due to the increased media attention.
Sources reportedly told RadarOnline that the 56-year-old actress is fleeing to Santa Barbara.
Aniston’s Tuscan-style farmhouse, purchased from Oprah Winfrey in 2022 for $24 million, is located along California’s Central Coast in Montecito.
The wealthy town is located in Santa Barbara County.
Known as the American Riviera, Santa Barbara is famous for its affluent residents, beautiful architecture, and comfortable distance from Hollywood.
The town is not without drama, being the home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
According to insiders, Aniston is embracing her new surroundings as rumors swirl of a romance with former President Obama.
“Jen was going to have her people either not respond or give a ‘no comment’, but she thought that would add fuel to the fire,” sources said, per RadarOnline.
The rumors of Aniston’s affair with the ex-president come as he faces alleged trouble in his marriage to Michelle Obama.
Aniston previously dismissed the speculation in good humor when she was asked about it by Jimmy Kimmel last year.
“Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you’re just like, ‘Oh, no, what’s it gonna be?’ or you get an email saying some cheesy tabloid is gonna make up a story—and then it’s that,” Aniston told Kimmel.
“I was not mad at it,” she continued, but, added, “That is absolutely untrue.”
Megyn Kelly recently weighed in on mounting rumors that the marriage between Barack and Michelle Obama has crumbled.
During her show, Kelly detailed the rumors, citing various sources and claims that have gained traction in recent weeks.
The speculation has reportedly been circulating in Washington D.C. and among certain social circles in New York and Los Angeles.
“There seems to be some momentum picking up in the rumor mill about their marriage,” Kelly said.
The Obamas reportedly separated some time ago but kept their split secret while they campaigned during the 2024 election.
Kelly referenced multiple unnamed individuals with connections in D.C.
The former Fox News star revealed that whispers of a strained relationship between the Obamas have been ongoing for over a year.
Kelly cited writer Jessica Reed Kraus, who published a post on her “House Inhabit” Substack discussing Michelle Obama’s notable absences from key public events.
According to Kraus, Michelle Obama’s decision to skip Jimmy Carter’s funeral and the announcement that she would not attend President Donald Trump’s upcoming inauguration have raised eyebrows.
“Whispers about cracks in their relationship have been circulating D.C. for over a year now, but this feels like the first public proof of a marriage on the rocks,” Kelly said, quoting Kraus’s post.
Adding a new twist to the story, Kraus claimed that “Friends” actress Jennifer Aniston’s name has been linked to Barack Obama in rumors circulating among social circles in New York and Los Angeles.
