...there are also a bunch of people who have come here from foreign countries who work whatever number of quarters at whatever rate until they have the right to draw social security and then they go back home. It is impossible to verify whether or not they are still alive. The checks go on forever. This is the reason that Soc Sec is on the verge of being broke.
