...I got a couple more things Im gonna try. Maybe save the file to a different folder and see if it shows up there. Mostly I am just irritated by how much more sophisticated computers have become and less useful at the same time.

I haven't seen this years 'Turbo Tax' yet this year . . . (And T.T. keeps irritating me so I may try another program this year.)
But, used to be, once the tax work was done I could 'Save As PDF' . . . Along with a dialog box enabling me to tell T.T. where I wanted to save it. And I would save it where 'I' wanted it to go - NOT where T.T. wanted to save it.
And, did you try looking under the 'Programs' sub-directory for it? (And I'm not sure, but under windoze-7 the 'Programs' sub-directory was was in the C drive . . . later editions windoze may have hidden it in the System Folder - while making it 'invisible' so mere mortals {and kings} can't get their grubby mitts into it.
