Re: “I could care less what OCU has to say and NO, I don't have ANY respect for him.. He wants to roll around in the slop with the pigs, why would YOU care what he had to say?”
I care because his side has held the White House for almost half of the last fifty years. I don't believe in burying my head in the sand and pretending it's otherwise.

Aside from that, I think OCU is right that it costs way too much for the President to do what should be an inexpensive thing like playing a round of golf. Of course, that's not the point that OCU was hoping to make, but he said something valid nonetheless. Essentially, by accident.

That said, Trump isn't really away from work when he's in Florida - unlike Sleepy Joe every time he went to Delaware. Heck, Biden was mentally checked out even when he was in D.C. It is disingenuous for OCU - or his source, HuffingtonPost - to oversimplify Trump's Florida trips into just being about golf.

The bottom line is that it is insanely expensive to be the President of the United States. Good point, OCU.

Lastly, I'll point out that golf is much more than a game when it is the POTUS who is doing it. It's a time to have private, unrecorded conversations with figureheads from around the world. It's a part of the job.

They claim Obama wasn't a golfer. Yet, as you can see, here he is, golfing. There is value gained when a President takes an important official or world leader out to play a round. This is an aspect of Presidential golf that the simpleton Pffarters do not understand.
