But Russia's version of 'victory', I suspect, is for the West to surrender ALL of Ukraine on a silver platter. And I just don't see that happening.
A 'Peace Agreement' - with Russia keeping Crimea and maybe more Ukrainian real estate? Possibly. That might be the sort of deal Trump is envisioning.
Russia is having a labor shortage. Russia's railroads have a problem - too much of their rolling stock is sidelined for lack of bearings. Russia also had all of their front line tanks destroyed in Ukraine. Russia is also having a 'soldier shortage' - they have been reduced to 'hiring' N. Korean soldiers. Russia also has an ammunition shortage - they've been buying drones from Iran and ammunition from N. Korea.
How much longer can Russia continue? Probably longer than I think. But Russia has already 'lost' a LOT. Possibly more than anybody realizes.
And will China decide they want parts of 'Eastern Russia'?
