Re: “Thank you for posting that, DE. A lpt of Truth in there.”
You're very welcome. I posted it so that micro would see that I was taking his suggestion seriously. But different strokes for different folks. I finished reading the first half and didn't get anything of value from it except that now, if someone tells me to read the Bible, I can respond that I've read Proverbs. When they tell me I'll get a lot out of reading it, I can respond, "No, it wasn't of value to me."

You've obviously read Proverbs before. Why would people read it over and over, as so often they do?

Thank you for posting that, DE.

A lpt of Truth in there.

The old King James is more difficult to read than the so-called 'modern' versions.

That is a good thing, for me. Causes me to slow down, and increases the 'thinking' time for absorption. Too easy to read other versions; haste makes waste, eh ?

Proverbs 24:14 So [shall] the knowledge of wisdom [be] unto thy soul: when thou hast found [it], then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

And even the demoncraps are exposed, warned and rebuked:
Proverbs 17:7 Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

Proverbs 17:13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
