DE >>> Why would people read it over and over, as so often they do?

Several reasons, but, for me, to pick up what I missed the first, second, third ... time around.

A lot of our conventional 'common sense wisdom' is summed up, quickly and to the point, in the multiple 'snippets' from Proverbs.

Such as (paraphrased) - Better to be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. *s*

Re: “Thank you for posting that, DE. A lpt of Truth in there.”
You're very welcome. I posted it so that micro would see that I was taking his suggestion seriously. But different strokes for different folks. I finished reading the first half and didn't get anything of value from it except that now, if someone tells me to read the Bible, I can respond that I've read Proverbs. When they tell me I'll get a lot out of reading it, I can respond, "No, it wasn't of value to me."

You've obviously read Proverbs before. Why would people read it over and over, as so often they do?
