That is true, Sire.
Seems the Russkies like to put auto-loaders inside their tanks . . reducing the crew complement from four to three. Unfortunately, this also means there needs to be plenty of tank main gun rounds loose in the turret. So when an anti-tank missile of the 'top down attack' variety punches through the thinner armor of the top of the turret, that sets off all that main gun ammo and 'BOOM' - the turret goes flying through the air.
