That may be what the 'headlines' say ...

But that is NOT what the SCOTUS order says.

The stay, issued by ROBERTS alone, on a lower court's EXPIRED TEMPORARY injunction requiring Trump to pay the bills, has been vacated. IOTW - it was a moot issue now (no injunction exists) - and the lower court has NOT renewed their injunction. LIMBO

The US Supreme Court just denied President Trump‘s bid to cancel $2 billion in USAID spending in a 5-4 vote.

So basically SCOTUS is over ruling Trump to pay out foreign aid.

Ruled that a single lower court judge has the power to approve or disapprove actions of the executive branch of government.

Roberts & Barrett sided with Democrat appointed justices.
