The Weather

The weather has finally improved. My wife and I went to "the big city" for groceries a few days ago, and although we couldn't get the car back up the driveway when we returned, there was a sense of no longer being held hostage. Yesterday (Saturday) was the last day with a high temperature below freezing, and in a couple of hours the need to have the kitchen taps dripping all night will be gone, at least until Fall. I'd be surprised if the snow isn't gone in a week - except where we've piled it up.

There have been significant snowstorms here as late as May 20th, in years past. And when we moved here on April 15, 2018, we caught a blizzard that forced us to spend the night in a Hartford CT parking lot. I'll never forget that. Quite an experience.

I trust you guys are already planting flowers and harvesting crops! How many tomato plants this year, micro? I know how you love 'em!
