The LT I bought well over a year ago came with 10 but had an 11 license. I'd think any equipment that didn't provide for it will be obsolete soon anyway. I also bought a LT a few months ago that had 11 from the get-go. It's no big deal. The start button is in the middle instead of on the left. It's no easier or harder to hate Microsoft using 11 than 10.
