Libtards routinely ignore this fine, time-honored piece of wisdom because they are child-like in many ways and mistakenly fantasize that they are humanity's true repository of civility, tolerance, understanding, and intelligence. They constantly open their ignorant yaps with wild abandon, expecting everyone to stand slack-jawed in awe at their "brilliance," but are invariably devastated to discover everyone is pointing and laughing at them for the infantile stupidity that has just emanated from their mouths. The vast majority of Democrats and other statists are village idiots whose unmerited arrogance keeps them blissfully unaware of their woeful, personal inadequacies.

Then she stepped off the stage and opened her mouth, destroying any hope Disney may have had of recouping its investment.

Heart's Nancy Wilson (kid sister to lead singer Ann) did something about as stupid this last week, announcing that she is embarrassed to be an American. You'd think she would know better, since she's a 70+ year old woman, but no. Great age does not always confer great wisdom. (Eh, clo?)

Heart is one of my favorite bands, and I hate to see conservatives bashing it - which they are, in great numbers. Nancy is only one member of Heart, and it strikes me as unfair to rip on the whole band for what one member said. But... in the past, Ann has spoken of John Lennon's famous "more popular than Jesus" remark in 1966 that caused a backlash and dealt a financial blow to the Beatles. Ann knows how damaging a few ill-conceived words can be to an entity. So how can her sister be so stupid? I don't know, but she apparently is.

Then there's The Dixie Chicks. I'm sure everyone here remembers what THEY did. That band still exists and is quite popular. But it changed its name to "The Chicks" in a half-hearted attempt at a fresh start.

This kind of thing keeps happening, and it's usually Leftists that don't know when to shut their yaps. I'm a bit grateful, actually. I don't much care for Leftists and if Leftists want to be their own worst enemies, I'm good with it.
