FYI, I wasn't much interested in the UFO/Space Alien trope too much before listening to this (not enough capacity to keep up with all hobbies and lines of speculation).
But, IMO, it makes a VERY interesting and reasonably plausible case for something like what we are experiencing, IF you follow through the (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayesian_inference) logic at the beginning and then entertain the chain of possibilities.
And, one might argue, it threads nicely with some physics, 'the singularity', WW4 being mostly psyop, ...and maybe even Elon Musk!
IF there is, in fact, OTHER intelligence in the Universe, might it both (1) be able to hang out on the edge of perception and (2) have a reason to do that -- and no more?
Are we being 'domesticated'? ;-)
