I'm not talking abut Harbour Freight stock, since I'm pretty sure nearly everything they sell is foreign sourced.

But I am thinking that if Americans are going to start the arduous task of re-industrializing they need basic tools, and those aren't generally made in the US any more.

But those tools hopefully will be made in the US within 3-5 years. Or are there good companies out there that survived the last 30-50 years of PUNISHING companies which produce tangibles, especially tools, and so have the requisite knowledge to take early advantage of this monumental gold rush?

I would think modernized machine-building shops would do very well in this environment. Of course, most of the heavy equipment a machine shop uses is not made in the US any more...maybe China or Germany?
