...taxes are necessary but subdividing them into groups and clumps making em seem like that are something other than the gubmint sticking their hand in your pocket is foolishness.

And yet you obviously favor having a big government; how do you propose to fund it? Donations only;-?

How does it benefit thinking or decision making to lump all revenue and expenses together, when they are clearly VERY distinct in where they come from and where they go.

These things are vectors, not scalars. So it does matter who they benefit, who they impoverish, who they kill, etc.
