Zim - none of that says Garcia was ever charged with a crime, much less convicted. He was detained, in jail, (no charges mentioned) - as his immigration case was being adjudicated. Still, no charges, no criminal case, no conviction. That immigration case ended with the 'court' NOT deporting him, and furthermore, issuing a permanent injunction from him being deported to El Salvador specifically.

Yeah, the immigration judge detained him in jail WHILE THE IMMIGRATION CASE Proceeded. Fair enough. But the case was obviously decided otherwise, and Garcia was released. No record of any conviction whatsoever.

Ditto for El Salvador.

I am not debating whether he is a gang member, gang leader, or even a desirable.

As stated previously - what Garcia's lawyer stated is still UN-Disputed truth. Neither the DOJ nor Bondi have stated anything contrary in their court filings.

The guy may be an undesirable - but he is in US CUSTODY, under a US paid for contract with the prison.
IF the US wants to LEGALLY DEPORT him - they first need to get that immigration ruling from US IMMIGRATION COURTS overturned. And, then, and only then can he be deported to EL SALVADOR and have him released from US CUSTODY (which he is currently under) and then the EL SALVADORAN JUSTICE SYSTEM can do whatever they wish.

That is the way OUR Constitution functions. Sorry it seems to upset so many folks - including Bondi and the DOJ.

Our Laws MUST be followed - especially by the Atty Gen and DOJ.

Then why did he spend some time in jail in 2019?

It is a proven fact that far too much of the American 'media' LIE bald facedly and shamelessly to 'We The People'.

According to Abrego Garcia’s attorneys in his current case, the criminal informant had alleged that Abrego Garcia belonged to an MS-13 chapter in New York, where he has never lived.

The information was enough for an immigration judge in 2019 to keep Abrego Garcia in jail as his immigration case continued, court records state. The judge said the informant was proven and reliable and had verified his gang membership and rank.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem told Newsmax on Friday there is no mistaking that the Maryland man errantly deported to an El Salvador prison is an MS-13 gang member and a "very dangerous individual," saying the mistake was about where he should go.

Riddle me this, Batman, If Abrego Garcia was so innocent . . . then why didn't the El Salvadorans release him?
