Good evening De!

I am confident that you know the answer to your query.

What I CAN recommend to folks iffen ya like really good syrup on waffles, pancakes, whatever, is KING SYRUP sometimes also referred to as King Table Syrup.

Its thick for syrup and has a remarkable taste.
Not runny like that stuff in plastic bottles in the stores. It was popular in the east and is used in recipes for things like Shoo-Fly Pies.

Great on pancakes and waffles.

Goods Potato Chips is something else that is found back east that is really good.

I don;t know if they carry these things at grocers in your area or not but they are in a lot of the eastern seaboard states.
