CNN, first reporting the “staggering” figure, notes that 22,000 of the IRS’s 90,000 employees plan to accept buyout offers and resign. IRS staff faced a Tuesday morning deadline to opt into the latest “deferred resignation” buyouts.

I'm personally very excited about this. I think the biggest game-changing move Trump et al could make would be to get rid of taxaction on CITIZENS earning less than $150K from ORDINARY INCOME. It would be extraordinarily hard for even the Demonrats -- filthy, hypocritical and totalitarian as they are -- to reinstall taxes on middle Americans once people got a taste of LABOR IS TAX FREE.
And I think the repercussions of dropping ordinary income taxes on the middle class would do more to secure things for the long term, both in the US and around the world, than anything else which can be done.
Even if new factories can't be built in the US in four years, that one move -- and only for the middle class (which would not include me anymore) -- would be a total game changer and the Leninists' worst nightmare. And can you imagine the fallout on European Leninists, Canadian Leninists, Australian Leninists, etc? "Why are American Citizens treated better than Corporations -- and way better than we, supposed, "Socialists"?
