I should be more tolerant -- especially since I know, first hand, how much damage one "passive agressive" person can cause.

So, I ought to have worded that differently. I PRESUME one of the first things he did, when he stepped into office (knowing there were plenty of "enemies within") was to COMMAND someone to do a very detailed, very fast scan of the entire Pentagon and associated military branches to INVESTIGATE and CONTAIN anyone they had the LEAST suspicion of or who might MAYBE be subject to blackmail.

I presume Hegseth did that. IF HE DID NOT THEN HE PROBABLY isn't the right person for the job. If he did do something like that, then he needs to find out who FOOLED him...and make sure heads roll such that they don't get another chance to fool him.

I would gladly put my uniform back on and fight alongside Captain Hegseth. Remember that this position of his is more POLITICS than anything else and he is not accustomed to being at the TOP of the Defense Department. So he some "feeling around" to do and know his limits. He still reports to Trump. So we don't really know what his orders were or are. Rule 1 is don't pizz off your superior.. Say YES SIR and NO sir and don't be wordy.
