Math can do that, but not science. With a high degree of confidence, though, I think it can be said that you're right: Cross species, with different chromone counts, can sometimes interbreed. Can the mule characteristics be passed along? I don't know. Until it happens again and we can study the genes, we'll just have to treat it as possible. After all, BOTH parents contribute to their progeny's genetic composition, do they not?

Hopefully scientists will get a better understanding of what's occurring before long.

Meanwhile, with regard to the Pig-Man possibility, it behooves us to keep an open mind. It's an intriguing possibility, and very interesting that humans and pigs have so many common characteristics unshared by any other creatures.
