ÂHTC has launched a new smartphone - which it decided to describe as a "superphone" - which will be initially sold in the USA exclusively by T-Mobile.
The HTC Sensation 4G comes with a 1.2-gigahertz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch qHD display and 8 megapixel camera.
The handset is Android based - although neither the press statement, nor their website product details clarified which variant of the OS it is running.
The 4G definition is in fact just HSPA, and limited to a download speed of just 14.4 Mbps.
Another variant will be be broadly available in Europe, first with Vodafone across its key European markets. It will also be available in Asian markets in Q2 2011.
No indication of pricing was offered.
