Here's another suggestion.

Change the site so that posts are not publicly readable. In other words, require a login (or a cookie).

This would prevent google and other webcrawlers from analyzing the site and producing reports on its content. The hassle Bob is currently dealing with can be directly attributed to such analyses.

Requiring a login would also probably speed the place up. Maybe by quite a bit. Who knows how much response time is being sacrificed to web crawlers constantly traversing the database?
